About Chase’s popularity, he’s kept it kind of simple not acting like he is the best thing in the world being a family guy from Illinois instead of a lifetime race winner from cali and RC bagged on him a lot like he wasn’t all that either.  When he crashed it hasn’t been going for extra wins digging deep but odd crashes when out front as a bit of a disappointment.  Now, Chase rose to the occasion hanging it out and was proud of himself going bigger than expected or hoped and others have a base to believe in him this year too not injured or with excuses with a new team behind him.  Without the drone i may not have appreciated how much he was hanging it out or how fast he was going catching people but it looks like the fans there that day had a pretty good idea.

Speaking of running into people was the girl with 30 second board hit or was it more like a matador pass for Webb to narrowly escape?  No one sent out a press release on her if she was hurt or not or why she was technically in the way of the track.  Maybe where she was standing and waiting was in between motos and just happened to be at the corner of the track turn but it looked like she just drifted walking around obviously in track space.  The other girls usually stay at the podium and out of the way.  

There was a movie, “Chances are” with a guy named “Chance the gardner” but then people accidentally thought his name was “Chauncy Gardner” and he went on this life adventure out of seclusion like a Forrest Gump retaining his innocence but being regarded as a hero by people seeing him as noble.  Hopefully Chance Hymas’s humbleness will still get him rewarded like the cool helmet tv ad he’s got.  Joe has ups and downs during the season but maybe Chance can put together a string of good rides with the ceiling idea and put more pressure on the podium if Joe can’t.  Or maybe Joe will up the pace and confidence riding with everyone like Chance does and he’s got his own helmet ad.

I know this was only a day later than normal... But I was afraid we lost Lewis to heatstroke
